Mission Events Website

Missionevents.co.uk is a website built for an events company based in Gloucestershire, UK.  The website is built on WordPress to make is easy for the client to easy update the content of the website.

The website was hand coded using XHTML and CSS2.1 and coded to web standards which makes the website accessible.   The homepage which is show below features a 3D movie which is of the logo spinning round, it is a flash movie so as a back up if flash is not installed then a image of the logo will replace the flash movie so the user will always see the logo.

The website was very straight forward to build, the real challenge came from getting everything organised as the last web designer that helped the owner of mission events had parts of the website spread everywhere. The domain with one company, the hosting with another company and the email server with another company.  It took a long time but working together we managed to merge all the parts together into one place, this means the website owner knows where everything is and knows where to go if there is a problem.
